Did you know?

Data Science has been in existence since the 20th Century? Data Science is regarded as the sexiest job in the world? Let’s begin with what Data Science is: Data Science is a concept to unify statistics, data analysis, machine learning and their related methods in order to understand and analyze actual phenomenon with data.

Data Science began as a term used as a substitute for computer science by Peter Naur in 1960 but by the year 2001, it was coined by William Cleveland in an article published in April. A few scientists have argued that there is no difference between data science and statistics but many have proven that data science is very distinct from statistics. To hit the nail on the head, statistics uses survey and probability methods of mathematics whereas data science actually uses scientific methods and algorithms to draw data.
